In World of Warcraft, player vs.When is the page updated.
    player (commonly abbreviated PvP) denotes player versus player combat of any kind such as: Dueling - one vs one combat in a controlled environment. The page is updated every Tuesday during the weekly realm maintenance.
    Battlegrounds - group vs group combat in a competitive environment.How many players are listed for each realm.
    Players that complete a battleground receive 'marks' for the appropriate battleground, which are used as a sort of currency to purchase rewards from PvP vendors. The top 1000 players are shown for each realm.
    Random PvP - whenever a player comes across another player of an opposing faction whose PvP Flag is turned on (or if two players meet in a contested territory) that player can engage the other one in combat.Why am I unable to find my name on the realm I play on.

    Players do not have the ability to choose their opponents.If your character isn't shown, it doesn't rank in the top 1000 - keep fighting! What is the "rating" and how is it calculated.
    In Battlegrounds you will be fighting people close to your level. A character's rating translates directly into their rank, and how far into that rank they are (ie: a rating of 65,000 means that character is the highest possible rank 14 character).
    In dueling you can choose who you wish to fight.Each character's rating is calculated by how many honor points they have, compared against all other characters on that realm.
    In Open Combat (only seen on PvP servers, in the Arena, and any time your PvP flag is on) players 40 levels higher than you can choose to fight you if they so desire and you cannot decline.In game, my standing displays something different on the web page.
    10 players of an opposing faction can gang up on you when you are soloing and you cannot decline. In game, the standing displayed is that characters standing for the previous week.
    However, if you happen to spot some members of the other faction of a reasonable level, and you're ready for a fight...The standing on the web page displays a character's overall, lifetime standing.
    I have more honorable kills than someone else.
    Why does that player have a higher standing than I.
     Honorable kills are not the only factor that determines a characters standing.
    The honor points a character receives from honorable kills are added to other factors, including honor points received for completing objectives in battlegrounds, to determine overall standing.
