The Asmodians are a brave and hardy people, separated from the Elyos by the Epic Cataclysm and plunged into a world of darkness and despair.The universe of Aion is stunningly beautiful and unique. To survive such desolation is one thing, but to thrive and prosper is quite another.
Your adventures and travels take you to the shell-world of Atreia, once connected by Aion, The Tower of Eternity, but now shattered into two halves and a myriad of shards by an ancient cataclysm.
The scars of their history are still exposed for all to see; as the Asmodians sank into their cold and sombre world, their bodies started to change.Players will traverse these lands in their first steps on a journey to bring salvation to the world, world of warcraft gold explore floating islands, voids and other amazing vistas. In the darkness, their skin fell pale, and as their eyes adapted, they developed an otherworldly glow about them.
Each half of the shattered world is inhabited by one of two playable divine factions, the Elyos and the Asmodian.
To their own, Asmodians are infinitely generous and fiercely loyal - they would sooner give their life in battle than to see that of a comrade taken from them.Isolated by the cataclysm that broke Atreia apart, each side brooded on the catastrophic events of the past and their hatred intensified for the other. However, outsiders beware; Asmodians are an increasingly hostile faction and will not think twice before bringing their colossal power into play.
Many centuries later, fragments of the destroyed tower began to float mysteriously in the air, and soon investigations discovered unstable portals or gates that opened into an unknown place of darkness and wonder where fragments of Aion drifted. Similar to their Elyos counterparts, Asmodian Daeva are blessed with strength and the ability to fly, though their wings are leathery and similar to various flying mammals, including bats.Called the Abyss, where the once-lost power of flight is now commonplace, the two races eventually discovered one another and very quickly went to war.
They now follow the Shedim Lords, wow gold the five Empyreans ordered by Siel and Israphel to protect the upper foundation of the Aion tower, the Tower of Darkness, and with them have established the city of Pandaemonium.
As the Elyos and the Asmodians uncovered new, more stable portals to the Abyss, they encountered a primeval terror that they had known only in their histories: the Balaur.
Previously imprisoned within the Abyss during the cataclysm, the Balaur are the ancient enemy of all the peoples of Atreia, and it was the Balaur’s continual war that had led to the eventual shattering of Aion. Now they have returned, and the survival of both races is now more uncertain than ever.
